Getting married in Singapore with guests flying in: what to put on your website

28 October 2026 · 6 min read

If some of your guests are flying in, your wedding website becomes their travel guide. They’ll read it on the plane and again in the taxi from Changi. A few clear sections save them stress and save you a lot of messages.

Arriving in Singapore

  • SG Arrival Card: visitors need to submit it before they land. It’s free on the official ICA website or the MyICA app, and can be done within three days before arrival. Warn guests about paid look-alike sites.
  • Visas: some nationalities need a visa to visit Singapore. Point guests to ICA’s website to check, well before they book.
  • From the airport: taxis and ride-hailing apps such as Grab run from Changi around the clock, and the MRT reaches the city in under an hour.

Getting around

Singapore is easy without a car. The MRT covers most of the island, and contactless bank cards work at the gantries. For a late banquet, suggest guests book a ride home in advance, since taxis can be scarce when a hotel ballroom empties at once.

Where to stay

List two or three hotels near the venue at different prices, with a link for each. If you’ve arranged a room block, add the booking code and the deadline. Guests will thank you for a short list more than a long one.

Weather and what to wear

It’s hot and humid all year, with sudden heavy rain. Say whether any part of the day is outdoors, whether the venue is air-conditioned (ballrooms can be cold), and your dress code in plain words. If you have a tea ceremony or a church service, mention anything guests should know about covering shoulders or colours to avoid.

Things to do while they’re here

Many guests turn the trip into a holiday. A short list of your favourite food places and a couple of neighbourhoods to explore is a lovely personal touch, and it’s the part of the website guests share with each other.

Keep it in one place

On Keep This Day, travel tips, hotels and things to do each get their own section on your wedding website, free, alongside the schedule, a map link and the RSVP. Guests open one link and everything is there. See how it fits a Singapore wedding.

Entry rules change. Always confirm the latest on the ICA SG Arrival Card page.
